  • MARK WRIGHT- PASTOR

    Pastor Mark is a lifelong church member with a passion for faith and community. Having explored various academic disciplines, including religion, education, and languages, he brings a unique perspective to ministry. He is committed to building a welcoming and inclusive church where all are valued and celebrated.

  • EMILU ALVAREZ - CREATIVE LEARNING CENTER DIRECTOR

    Emilu has been the CLC Director since 1996.  She understands the mission and the important role CLC plays in the community.  As a childcare director, Emilu is proud to be a part of the school and the support that Central Presbyterian Church has shown the CLC children, families, and staff.  She believes herself to be a lifelong learner, enjoying reading, webinars, and her volunteer work with Florida Association for the Education of Young Children an affiliate of NAEYC. Emilu has an amazing family, being married to her husband for 45 years, and enjoying her daughters, son-in-laws, and grandchildren. 


  • BEVERLY COULTER - MINISTER OF MUSIC

    Beverly Coulter has been the Minister of Music at Central Presbyterian Church since 2010. She is dedicated to providing a meaningful musical landscape for our worship experience through her work with the choir, instrumentalists, and soloists. A native of Dallas, Texas, she holds a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. In addition to her extensive work as a conductor and director, she maintains an active schedule as a singer, solo pianist, coach/accompanist and clinician. Dr. Coulter’s love of teaching began when she taught music and English to orphaned children in Mexico City as a seventeen-year-old United States representative to the Salvation Army’s Mexico Youth Corps ministry. Her work in sacred music has been a lifelong endeavor and continues to be a vital part of her artistic life. Dr. Coulter is a Professor of Music and Director of Opera at Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida.

  • JANELLY PEREZ - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSOCIATE

    Janelly Perez has been singing at Central Presbyterian Church since 2008.  She is a dedicated Vocalist and loves to sing to God. Janelly is the administrative assistant at our church, performing a double duty as she also sings in the choir and performs as a soloist. Janelly is a Barry University graduate, majoring in vocal performance. As the church administrative assistant, Janelly is the unsung hero behind the scenes. With a heart for service and a passion for organization, she ensures that the church office runs smoothly and efficiently. Janelly is deeply committed to caring for the congregation. She listens to their needs, offers support, and connects them with resources when necessary. Her warm smile and compassionate demeanor make her approachable and trusted by everyone. She also takes pride in orchestrating seamless Sunday services. She ensures that everything is in place. Her attention to detail ensures that each service flows smoothly, allowing worshippers to focus on their spiritual experience. Janelly lives out her faith daily. Her dedication to the church’s mission is evident in her work. Whether it’s solving a scheduling conflict or finding a missing document, Janelly tackles challenges with creativity and resourcefulness. She collaborates seamlessly with pastors, staff, and volunteers. Her positive attitude and willingness to pitch in wherever needed create a harmonious work environment.

  • JEAN MORALES - BUSINESS MANAGER

    Jean has been working at Central Presbyterian Church and The Creative Learning Center since 2004.  She regards her work environment as a  "piece of heaven", since it has provided her with the  invaluable opportunity of being a working mom with flexible hours.  Jean values the caring and nurturing environment, that is "exceptional in their professionalism, dedication, teamwork and vision."  She is grateful for being entrusted to serve the church and preschool as their Business Manager.  Jean is a graduate of Florida State University, and began a career in non-profit financial administration in 1995. She also enjoys traveling with her children, spending time at the beach, working out, cooking, baking, reading, and biking.
